The Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis was opened in June 2013 as an industry-university collaboration center with the aim to successfully develop artificial photosynthesis.

English Education Development Center
The EEDC provides the English education program for freshmen and sophomores at OCU and designs the curriculum for College English (CE) and Advanced College English (ACE) classes.
Research Center for Finance & Securities
The Research Center for Finance & Securities arranges symposia, collects studies and publishes academic books concerned with finance and securities.
Media Center and Library
The Media Center houses a collection of over 2.5 million books and approximately 9,000 current periodical titles and is one of the leading library facilities in Japan. The Media Center also functions as the nucleus of the campus network.
Research Center for Industry Innovation and Osaka City University Incubator
In 2003 the university reinforced the structure for industry-university cooperation by setting up the Research Center for the Industry Innovation to vitalize the local economy through the creation of new businesses.
Botanical Gardens
The Osaka City University Botanical Gardens were established in 1950 as a research facility of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Located in Kisaichi Katano-shi, a suburb of Osaka, the Botanical Gardens have been collecting and preserving plants for the purpose of botanical research. The gardens are not only used for research but are open for anyone wishing to enjoy or learn about nature.
University Hospital
Osaka City University Hospital was originally established in October 1925 as the municipal hospital for the city of Osaka. The hospital now has 32 outpatient departments, handling more than 2000 patients on average each day, making it one of the largest general hospitals in Japan. It is well-known as a university hospital providing state-of-the-art medicine and medical care.
Central Workshop
The workshop develops and fabricates mechanical apparatus, equipment and glassware for educational and research activities and provides practical training in the fabrication of equipment for use in experiments.
Archives of University History (within Library)
The Archives are responsible for keeping a number of materials and documents accumulated while writing the History of OCU and for collecting new materials and documents for the future editing of the university history.
Health & Medical Services Center
The Center provides medical services to staff and students, including clinical treatment for minor diseases and psychological counseling.
Tanaka Memorial Hall
Facilities in the Tanaka Memorial Hall include a large lecture theater, an exhibition hall, meeting room, a beautiful garden and a restaurant for staff and students.
Takahara Hall
Takahara Hall is used for a wide range of events in its role as a venue for cultural exchange between staff, students and alumni.
Academic Extension Center
The Academic Extension Center promotes the dissemination of OCU intellectual resources, enhances exchange with the local community, aims to make academic research results available to society and contributes to academic and cultural promotions.
