Award of Excellence at the 2021 Nikkei Womenomics SDGs Roundtable Presentation!
On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, the "Nikkei Womenomics 2021 Symposium: Are you ready? The Future Opened by SDGs" (sponsored by Nikkei Inc. and supported by Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. and Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.) held an SDGs Roundtable Presentation Contest at Herbis Hall in Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka City. The "Osaka Science Girls," a team consisting of Ayatsuki Teranishi (photo on the right), a sophomore in the Faculty of Science, and Satoko Maeda (photo on the left), a first-year Master's student in the Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka Prefecture University, took the stage as the first Osaka Metropolitan University (tentative name) team. They won the "Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. Award of Excellence (University Division)".
