On 28 December, Masahiro Sakamato, a 4^th year student in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the OCU Faculty of Engineering won his first fight as a professional boxer. At the Japanese super welter-weight title match held at the Sumiyoshi Municipal Center, Sakamoto won on points in the fourth fight in the flyweight class.?
Sakamoto, training at the Muto Boxing Gym, seemed a little bit nervous before the fight, but once it started he coolly fought 4 rounds, light on his feet, to win a stunning 3-0 victory on points.
