Changes in the class schedule and hours from AY 2022?

Due to the 2022 opening of the new university, Osaka Metropolitan University, the class schedule and hours will be changed. Please check the following for details.

◆Class Schedule (except for some faculties and graduate schools (*1))

Main changes:

• The first day of classes for the second semester will be on September 24 (September 26 for AY 2022).
• If classes are cancelled, make-up classes may be held on Saturdays, they are set as "make-up days" in the class calendar.
• To ensure the requisite number of credits per year for graduation, make-up classes might be held on holidays and/or on days with a large number of available class periods

※1. The schedule for the Faculty of Medicine (2nd year and up?), the Faculty of Law (Law School), and the Graduate School of Urban Management will be determined separately.?

◆Changes in class hours (except for some faculties and graduate schools (*2))

Main changes:

• The number of lessons per course will change from 100-minute classes x 14 to 90-minute classes x 15.
• The first period will start at 9:00 a.m.

※2. The Faculty of Medicine (2nd year and up), Graduate School of Medicine, and Graduate School of Urban Management will be determined separately.
